Unicorn Survey

Am I the only one who gets excited about paper goods and surveys? Yes? I figured as much. There is something about a new notebook/journal/planner that gives me – dare I say it – hope. Yes, hope. Hope of a new beginning and a better ending than before. Between the covers of a new book holds the unwritten success of a story, project, life-altering breakthrough.

In the planner and journaling community such books – to improve productivity/creativity, capture the awesomeness that are your ideas or life events – are called unicorns. I am researching unicorn notebooks for a design project. A week ago I created a survey (https://goo.gl/forms/7wSxbUu9HRh6xZ8U2) to capture people’s ideas of what makes up a unicorn or ideal notebook.

I got quite a few surveyors that seem to be looking for versatility and portability. I am thankful for their input. I wonder what others have to say about their ideal notebook? I would love to hear what you have to say. Feel free to take they survey.
