A gift in disguise?

I have been struggling with finding my profitable passion(s). In other words, I’ve been looking for a new career. I have had a few jobs that were false career starts and at my ripe of of twenty-er-nevermind-my-age, I realize that I look quite silly saying “I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up”.

I have been told by my sister that I may have to create my career as my skill set may not fit nicely into a pre-existing career path. That possibility of that being truth is quite depressing as it is easier to go the beaten path than to forge a new one. However, I can’t deny my lack of passion for what I have done in the past. I have had a variety of work and educational experiences.

I found that I am interested in people and problem-solving, health care is quite interesting, I also have a creepy “research” skill: I am pretty good at finding information online. I really enjoy finding information and resources to help others. It’s one of the few things I do for free (along with writing and drawing- but sometimes I charge for those things). I like to share knowledge as well.

I have to find a way to incorporate these interests/strengths/skills into something that can be sustainable and profitable. After all, I am tired of my current position as a broke, mooch.

All right, my people, I am calling on you for ideas. I would like to hear your two-cents. Thanks in advance.
