Cooking Fiasco

I should not be allowed to cook. Why?

1) Because it is expensive.

Today I spent some insane dough on partially made frozen meals. You know the kind you just heat in a pan or nuke-rowave.

2) Because it is dangerous.

In the process of making a meal, I practically had to use the jaws of life to open a can of beans. I had to perform a search and rescue to get my lil pooter beans out of the can. All without losing a finger on the sharp can edges.

I also shorted out the kitchen. Well, not the entire kitchen, just all the appliances in corner. Thankfully, nothing caught on fire in the process. I had to go downstairs in the creepy basement and reset the circuit. I could have been eaten by the bogey man or something while I was down there!

3) And quite frankly, I just don’t like to do it.

Cooking is not fun when you have to do it. I only cook when I am in the mood to “play in the kitchen”. Usually by the time I have finished preparing the meal I don’t want it anymore.

Am I the only one with this kitchen luck?
