Hair Banding Tips

Hair Banding Tips

So I am sure you have all heard of hair banding. What, you haven’t? Well hair banding is a technique for stretching curly hair.

Tips:
Work with damp to wet hair. The tighter the curl pattern, the wetter the hair should be.

Detangle thoroughly but gently.

Work in manageable sections. The tighter the curl pattern, the smaller the sections.

Use terry-cloth bands, not rubber bands on hair.

For sleeker results, place bands close together along the shaft of the hair section.

Be mindful of how you hold your hair section as you band or you will end up looking like Coolio.

Let hair fully dry before removing bands.
